Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to find us, see what's on, buy tickets, and plan a night at Bar Phoebe. That includes people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim for barphoebe.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We treat accessibility as ongoing work: we review new pages and features as we add them and fix problems as we find them or as you tell us about them.

What we do

• Describe meaningful images with text alternatives.
• Make menus, buttons, and forms usable with a keyboard and labeled for screen readers.
• Keep text readable, resizable, and in sufficient contrast with its background.
• Take payments through Stripe's checkout, which supports screen readers, keyboard use, and Apple Pay / Google Pay.
• Let door staff look tickets up by name or ticket number, so a guest never has to rely on scanning a QR code to get in.

Known limitations

• Our menu is shown as an image.If you'd like it as text, email or call us and we'll send it or read it to you.
• Some parts of the site come from other companies— our reservation system, job applications, event inquiry form, maps, and links to Instagram and Spotify. We choose partners with accessibility in mind, but we don't control their pages. If one of them gets in your way, contact us and we'll help you directly.

If you have questions about getting in and around Bar Phoebe — entrances, elevators, restrooms, seating, or anything else — call or email before your visit and we'll help you plan. Service animals are welcome.
